DO not do this to a laptop you need. They can do that without any worry because if they brick the laptop its just a easy replacment. If you break your laptop its 100% on you to buy a new one. You have to be SUPER careful, laptops are not very good places to get conductive material on. I wouldnt bother with it, you can repaste it with Kyronaut paste from Thermal Grizzly, but i wouldnt bother with LM as it can get out if you move your laptop a lot.

Hello everyone I'm new to the fourm. But I have a pretty straight forward question. I have recently watched linuses video on using and applying liquid metal to a laptop CPU and GPU. I'm interested in doing this to my ASUS ROG GL753VE packing the 1050Ti. With that all said I was wondering if anyone has done this to this laptop or any other like it. And how easy or difficult it would be to preform this delicate procedure. Also if it's even worth doing this as I have a external vacuum fan and a laptop cooling pad with 5 fans. Attached is a photo of the inside of this laptop from the bottom compartment. I'm not sure if the top will have to be removed as well. I look forward to the feedback.

just use a good paste. The laptop's biggest problem is using only 1 stack of fins to cool both the GPU and CPU, not poor paste
