Windows 10... Ethernet.

So i downloaded windows 10 on my brand new pc which I built but when i go to boot windows and plug in my ethernet cable i still get no internet connection, i have lights showing off my ethernet which are green and orange so i don't think it's broken.

have you looked into device manager if it shows up?

Can you:

1. go to the search bar
2. type cmd
3. press enter
4. type ipconfig
5. press enter
6. show us a screenshot of what is in front of you?

right click start button, click device manager, then click network adapters

Go to manufacturers site for support of MB and download the drivers.

There will be quite a few, you should prob get others as well.

If you are using on-board audio you should install the driver and app.
