Display for MacBook

Hey,

 

I know a lot of you are Windows-based users, however, I currently have the 13" MacBook Pro with TouchBar and am now looking for a decent monitor for it.

 

Budget of around £500 (nothing fancy, but needs to look cool).

 

Not sure if there are USB-C ones out there like LG's, if so, that's a preference but HDMI would do too.

Mac user (for work) here!

I recently got my 13" MBPro too (and love it)

 

There are USB-C (Thunderbold3) options but they are super expensive. I recomend a HDMI/Dispalyport one and a USB-C to either of those cable (15$ on amazon)

 

I use this monitor and love the colors and sharpens

when being this monitor go via Displayport since Mac OS supports night shift better there

Ooh - I like it. 

 

I'm trying to get into dark mode at the moment, not ready to make the full move yet

 

Will see what else there is, as just bought the iPhone Xs Max, so funds are pretty low

Regarding the LGs: there also is the 27UD58, with is the predecessor to the UD59, slightly lesser colors but cheaper.

 

And congrats to the Xs Max, personally to big for me and I am happy with my X, but boy thats a nice screen!

Aha, it's amazing.

 

Upgraded from the 7 so big difference, I could never go to a smaller screen now. They got me tied in

Also, do you use official Apple keyboard/mouse?

yes. It is expensive but recommend it due to the other keys like cmd and control not working properly on win keyboards. Mouse is not so important. But I do recommend the Magic Mouse due to the possibility to use gestures
