Which informations should I put inside a footer?

Hey guys,

 

I'm working on a website which is going to inform the user about a specific topic.

And make a table to compare some products.

I do not want to sell anything on it, but I want to use google ads on it to generate a bit money for hosting.

 

So the problem is that I do not know what I should write inside the footer.

I see everywhere things like "disclaimer, privacy, terms, faq" -- but what is this all about?

Is there any random text to paste in for this?

If you dont store user data in any way (not even cookies) i would not bother with the privacy and disclamer. Do display any credit stuff for code you used from others and ofcourse credit yourself id say

I would like to put in a script for blocking users that use adblocker, don't I have to set up cookies for this?

For now I only used my own code and didn't copy anything. So where should I credit myself then?

Bottom of the footer. The ltt site sais powered by invision community. I stick my name somewere around there

So I would write Created by Hip or poweredy by Hip or so for example?

Created by or made by. Powered by is more for cms systems and the like

You can get creative. Add in a couple phrases as an "about me" section, useful links (to sections of the website), your social media accounts, a fun quote, a sign up form to a newsletter or something, your address...
