Ram configuration

Hi quick question if a friend is using a kit of 8gb corsair vengance 1600mhz

and i give him my piano black 8gb 2133mhz and install it on the second ram slot would it be an issue?

ahh nope its a twin mos piano black is like the model name like how mushkin has frostbite.

It should work, they will both run at the lower 1600Mhz though.

so if the ram slots are 1324

and the population is 132 it will work and run on 1600mhz

It should, make sure the two 4GB Corsair sticks are in the proper slots. Match them into 1,2 or 3,4 assuming you have the slots correctly numbered. It might even run in Dual channel when configuring correctly, but no promises.
