Hey all~

Finally finished my new build, and have quite a few things that have RGB lighting.. and I was curious if there's any one piece of software that I can use to control all of the items, and not need 2-3 different programs for it.

Items in question:

Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 7

G.Skill Trident Z memory

Phanteks Enthoo Luxe case

Razer Cynosa Chroma keyboard

Corsair M65 Pro mouse (eh)

I know I can use Gigabyte's RGB Fusion for at least the motherboard and memory, but not only do I not know if it can also control everything else, the download for RGB Fusion also wants some "App Center" installed that I really would rather not do. (Unless I have no choice, or it's a very lightweight, non-bloated program. Calling itself "App Center" makes me think bloatware instantly.)

Does anyone have any suggestions? Am I going to have to use 2+ programs to do this? I don't particularly care about the lighting on the mouse (it's barely visible anyway due to, you know, being used and all), but everything else I would like to control via software if possible.

Thanks!

You'll need iCUE for the mouse, should be able to hook the case up to the mobo and control it and the memory with Gigabyte's app, and unless the Razer stuff is recognized you'll need Razer Chroma (I think that's the name) as well.

Ah, that's kind of disappointing..

There is an LED cable attached to the case's PWM hub that I didn't connect to anything; one, because I'm not sure this motherboard had a matching male connection, and two, because the case's manual states to only use said plug with Phanteks LED strips (they infer the extra ones you can order from them).. so I assumed, since I'm not using extra ones, that I didn't need to hook it up to anything.

If I could control everything with Gigabytes' software, that'd be fantastic, though.. might have to give it a try, I suppose.. surely it's not full of junk coming from Gigabyte.

Thanks!

Razer Synapse. Chroma is Razer's way of saying 'RGB'.

But yeah, Razer and Corsair don't support any other brands of RGB (such as RGB fusion or Aura Sync) as of now. Which really is a shame.

It really is a shame.

RGB Fusion only detects the motherboard and memory as of right now. In order for it to detect the case, I've discovered you have to use some "RGB adapter cable" that a person would think Phanteks would include in the packaging.. but they do not.

Thankfully, it's only $5.. so I ordered one since I wanted another 140mm fan for the top exhaust anyway.

But that still leaves the keyboard. If Synapse could detect and sync everything on its own, I'd just use it. (I figure it might be able to detect the memory/case with the cable, but possibly not the motherboard.)

I would really rather not have multiple programs trying to handle the RGB lighting, but I may have no choice.

Anyway, thanks everyone!
