hi, I have been reading up on the article linked below, that you can use an external drive to install window and had some question, firstly can I eject the drive and plug it back in and still have all my files? lastly, can I partition the drive beforehand?

Ok wow I have the same and I did a split 400Mac and 100Win. But I also have a tower PC with a few TB for all my other stuf and for "real" gaming 

 

Let me/us know how it works out with the external bot camp

Are you running MacOS Mojave? Its important, bcse they made some changes to boot camp drivers etc

yeah running Mojave once I am able to get a drive I will get back to you ?
