Better power supply is be a lot more reliable. Cheap power supply could kill all of your PC parts.

I can recommend the "Gray label" (NOT the older ones with a green label) Corsair CX units. Get a 600W one. this will also be enough for future upgrades.

They are reliable, silent, ok eficeneny, cheap and are no fire hazard like yours :D

This won't upgrade the performance of your rig but is also very important if you don't want your rig to get zapped of the PSU to fail  at some point in the future ;) Where are you located? I can provide you a link to the PSU I recommend.

Perf wise, you could upgrade the GPU but for general gaming its super fine! Do you game on HD resolution?

Also a idea is to try to sell the 1x8GB stick of RAM and get some used 2x4GB kit. This will increase your perf by a bit, because you can use dual channel memory access.

FOLDING MONTH 2021! GOGOGO and save on some heating costs 🙂

Yeha! try to play on higher settings. The 950 should be able to push more than minimum in PUBG

Wich files do you want to store?

If you have lots of pictures music etc you should go HDD.

But if you plan to have more games on the PC I suggest a SSD bcs of the better loading times

In general it comes down to this: HDD: Bulk storage, SSD: Games and Programs you use often

Yes this is pretty nice, but I’d recommend a Corsair CX “gray label” PSU. But you should make it dependent on which you can get cheaper. Simply try to get a(semi) modular one :)

the videocard he picked is nice and will be sufficieant for anything on high to medium on 1080p.

Your CPU is fine and ram (although it is a single stick) is also ok

cx550m is my recommendation from these 3. I would recommend anything from tier 3+ in the psu tier list (pinned in the cases and psu catagory), whatever is the cheapest 500+ watt psu that forfills your needs. then a 1060 6gb, 580 8gb or a second hand 980 ti would be my recommendation gpu-wise.

good choise. not really. just get the gpu out of the slot, insert the new one and disconnect the psu connectors. only cable management could be hard, but that's why we have zipties

and selling, you should be possible, but I'm not that much in the second hand market

If it's (semi)modulair you might be. But the cx550 and cx450 are with included cables.
