HDR makes my mouse transparent

Majorbang

I have a TV connected to my PC through HDMI, whenever I move my mouse to my tv screen my mouse turns transparent, I can only see the outline of the mouse and the mouse seems slightly laggy.

I do not have any issues when HDR is disabled.

I've enable HDR on my TV and in windows and tried a multitude of settings (all 4k resolution) in the Nvidia control panel:

60hz RGB with 8bpc

30hz RGB with 12bpc

60hz 4.2.2 with 12 bpc

60hz 4.2.0 with 12bpc

None of the options I've tried seemed to have any effect on the issue that I'm having.

I've also tried enabling mouse trails and switch the screen scale from 300% to 100% that also did not have any effect.

Specs:

- TV:                      LG OLED55B8PLA         (HDMI 2.0b)

- Graphics card:    1080ti

-HDMI cable:        RU connected states it's supports 4K @ 60 Hz with 4:4:4 and HDR (don't worry it wasn't €100)

-Windows version: 1803

besides the tv there are 2 more (HD) monitor connected
