Download 331.82 drivers from nvidia.

Ok so I have an evga 670 ftw and have been trying to update it to the current drivers using geforce experience. Currently its on 320.49 which is pretty old since the newest is 331.82 (I think). Now my problem is that every time I try to update I open up geforce experience and I click express installation and after that a window pops up saying preparing installation and it will just stay on that screen for hours. Or sometimes it will open the window and then just close it and say that it failed. Any reason why? Should I be using geforce experience to update it?
