Hi guys,

It is time to build a new gaming PC. I need help to pick nice components. I want to play new titels with high fps and with the best settings, I have two monitors (1 hdmi and 1 displayport), mouse, keyboard and usb-headset and an internet-cable to connect to the PC.

Budget some where around 3400-3600 USD, so a really nice PC :)

**EDIT** I already have a Fractal Design Define R6 TG Gunmetal

I want the following spec:

2080 Ti

2 x 16 GB RAM

1 TB SSD (I already have a 2 TB HHD)

CPU AIO water cooler

Please help me. I do not OC, I just want good and quiet components "out of the box".

I also suggest getting the 2080 instead of the 2080 Ti because finding one of those that isn't 1k+ is gonna be difficult

Thank you for all the answers! I live in Sweden and picked USD because I don't expect you to be browsing swedish sites, I can see that it is quite a difference in price levels on some of the parts. For example an i9-9900K in Sweden is at 685 USD right now, and that sucks. But I really liked what @brob and @Shini put togheter (a big plus for the RGB bro!) and will probably buy a mix of them. Even tho it will cost a bit more then 3500 USD in Sweden with the swedish crown.

Do you know if I can sync thoose Corsair fans with the mobo (ASUS aura) or do I need a different program for that?

I know it might be an overkill PC I don't have a 4k montior right now, but I am planning on buying. I have a 240 Hz monitor and my studies at the univesity gives me plenty of spare time to play games, so I want something that will last a couple of years until i graduete. The price is not my maxlevel but I had to give you something and that's why I wrote 3.5 K. (It is not my resulution, lol)

I am a bit scared to have SLI, I will have one of my boyfriend's friend over for some beer and pizza so he can build the PC. I just want a pc that works... and SLI feels complicated and I don't like complicated things. I'm rather an idiot and pays some extra for a 2080 ti ;)

Yeah...if you had 1080 Ti's then maybe a SLI setup would be...okay?..i guess....but for now there is no need..i am making a custom setup that combines the two of theirs and some of my own personal tweaks...i'll send it when i'm done...could take awhile cause i have to research pricing on 2080 Ti cards and do a little more reasearch on which ones are better if you don't want stock Nvidia stuff...which...you don't..by the way

Haha, Thanks man that was my thought as well, but since I'm a noob at this stuff is it nice to have someone else to say those things. Please, don't spend to much time on checking prices because they will not be as relevent when I order from our Swedish sites.

I understand, I don't know how familiar you are with the swedish pricing, but we don't order from Amazon or companies ouside of Europe that much because we have to pay an extra customs fee. For example an i9-9900k from Amazon, Price: $579.99 + $156.54 (Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to Sweden) = 734 USD and an i9-9900k from a Swedish company is 690 USD (no shipping or extra fees)

I am thinking of blue, but would be nice to switch to pink/purple sometimes, so RGB. A big plus, and I'm willing to pay extra if everything can be controlled in one program

Given how the european prices are inflated i'd have used a country on the euro as your price comparison point. 3.5k USD is 3k E's or £2700. (Note my keyboard is too old to have a euro symbol).

How does white for the static components sound?....like the case will be white but the RGB will all light up whatever color you want

hyper 212 evo for an 8700k? I know that he said he isn't overclocking but, it isn't out of the realm of possibility that he could in the future. The cooler master fan cooler is good don't get me wrong but its kind of loud and would probably stand out in the build. This would also be a tight fit inside an h500, but it would work. Last, I feel like 32gb of ram is too much but its all up to the person who is building.

I'll change it to a water cooler. I think he wanted 32 gigs of ram anyways, for a machine of that caliber. But 16 gigs would also be more than enough. I also didn't know if he wanted windows 10 pro. I can also change the case, but don't really know how big it should be. SLI 1080 TIs could probably do 4k 100 fps and easily 1080p240. Or you could do 2080 NVlink or just a single 2080 ti. But I think 2 1080 TI is still better value or at least better performance. And someone else can help me pick a case because I know nothing about that.

Here is the new list -
