I've read about every forum there is about people arguing over distilled water + a biocide VS premixed fluids,
I've got a full copper loop with some nickle fittings,

Anyone had any personal experience?
Are the premix fluids essential, or is distilled water and a biocide enough to keep out of trouble
Do i even need an anti corrosive if my loop is pretty much full copper?

It’s recommended to go with a premix or concentrate as they will have all the necessary additives to maintain loop health. For options mayhem’s and EKWB have good fluids.

This is a very widely spread misconception in my opinion, a good premixed fluids are exactly that, a pre-mix of distilled water + biocide + anti-corrosives and optionally some colouring agent. This is why this arguement is futile since the two things you describe the same thing, just whether you do it yourself, or get a pre-made product. Unlike custom fluid parts, fluids are more of chemistry's realm and should be left to proper manufacturing and testing, so just buy a pre-mix fluid.

I would personally recommend you stay away from opaque fluids though (Vue, Aurora, Pastels). I have had very good experience with EKWB CryoFuel.

Also despite your best efforts, you always have mixed metals (stainless steel in pumps, brass in fittings, etc) and so you should always have anti-corrosives.

i used the premix DoubleProtect Green from Aquacomputer:

- pure: no problems beside colored tubes

- with distilled water: no problem with less colored tubes

Mayhems UV Green X1 works also perfectly fine.

Mayhems UV Green Pastel has no problems with good flushed loop.

all my RADs are Alphacool Nexxos Monstra Rads

the water blocks are EK Titan X, 2x EK Titan Xp, EK Supremacy Evo

The pumps are 2x EK D5s

So i can recommend you the DoubleProtect with some destilled water (1l DP + 2l des water)
