Windows can't be installed on drive 0 partition 2

I'm trying to clean install Windows but I have encountered this error message (see picture).

 

Can I go ahead and delete the drive? I don't need to backup anything. Thanks in advance

If you don't care about any of the data currently on the drive, you could delete all of the partitions and let Windows recreate a new partition table.

"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk had an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks."

you'll have to convert it to gpt then. back up if you need it, clean it and convert it. the internet will tell you how

So deleting the partition won't do?

not completely, you'll have to convert it using command prompt

diskpart
list disk
select disk (disk number)
clean
convert gpt

this will delete everything that's on the disk
