Gaming Laptop

Hello ! 
I want to buy an gaming laptop for around 700$, and i found something:
1. Lenovo Y520, i5 7300hq (4 cores)2.5ghz up to 3.5 in boost; 8gb ram; 1tb; gtx 1050 4gb.
2. MSI GF63 8RC, i7 8750H (6 cores) 2.2 ghz up to 4.1 in boost; also 8gb ram; 1 tb & gtx 1050 4gb.
I saw that the MSI's gpu it's  with 200mhz lower than the Y520.

I think that the MSI it's much better considering it's brand new core i7, 8th. gen.

What do you think?

the MSI is certainly better, but I don't think you will notice the difference as a gaming laptop. Their GPUs are quite weak.

That's my budget and i only afford one from those two laptops.

The processor in either works fine for the GPU. Though I'm less partial to MSI due to their industrial design and the bloatware their computers seem to come with.

 

However in all objectiveness, if you can afford the laptop with a better CPU, buy that instead.

Yeah, definitely the MSI, since the CPU is the only real difference, and the MSI's CPU looks better.

Why look at marketing stuffs......GF63 has very OKish build quality and cooling, I wouldn't recommend it

 

Where are you from? Budget? Usage? Any preference on weight and battery life?
