i want to add another Fan to My Cpu cooler Thermaltake Riing Silent 12 Red

ZinouTheBeast XXI

hey guys i want to add another fan to my Thermaltake Riing Silent 12 Red CPU Cooler But i don't know How .

The thing is  it is possible to mount 2 fans 120mm on both sides ,  but they only include two metal Bracket "fan holder" " i don't know what it is called exactlly but you get the point "

My purpose is not Getting low Degrees Or even higher overclocks , i am just looking for Good looks cause the riing 12 it already doing a pretty good job at cooling my i5 8600k  "geek stats xD" idle 33-38c - load 60-67c" at 4.4 ghz

i bought 6x rgb fan LedDess , weel they are good but i won't trust them to cool my cpu "you know why" , i bought them just to fill out space on my "G21 tgx2" Case and  they are beautiful

so i have an extra one LedDess rgb fan to add to my cpu cooler to make pc look better rather then static red led fan

if any body has any idea pls let me know and thanks

EDIT: what i meant by two metal bracket is 2 brackets that hold 1 fan for each side

Each side has 4 holes to mount that bracket all the way into the heatsink then when you insert the 2 brackets for each side you can hold the fan

google it you can find videos how it looks like

First post for you, woo! Welcome lurker!

Unfortunately I don't think you can source a 2nd fan bracket,

but why not apply an age old Linus method???

Zip ties, or better yet find some black wire that you can bend into the shape you need.

Jumbo paperclips work wonderfully, or if you can manage bending and cutting a coat-hanger even better!

I'm interested to see what you come up with :P

Your temps are already so low that adding fan won't do anything. It will only bring more noise without real world benefits.

It seems to come with extra set of metal clips, same as what are used for stock fan. If you are unsure how to use them, just look at how stock fan is being hold. You can add any fan with 120mm mounting (open) holes. Meaning same style fan that what stock is. Note thought that if you are going to get something with different rpm, use one with higher rpm as push-fan and one with lower as pull.

as i sad before i am not looking for lower degrees + the rgb fans that i bought deos not make alot of noise so noise it not an issue , and btw i know my stuff each 2 brackets hold one fan , just one fan , it has 4 holes for each side so the  metal bracket can slide across the heatsink then same for othe side and then it holdes the fan , so for me i need 2 extra metal bracket  to hold another 120mm fan , got it ?

Temps won't change more than degree or two. If your max load would be at or over 75C, then it might change. But 67C max with tiny cooler is already very good.

So I had to look at reviews, and it really comes only with single pair of those clips. With extra's nowhere to be found. Its tad odd as other budget coolers come with extra pair. Anyway, you can contact Thermaltake and ask if you can buy from them. Or you can buy separately and risk that they don't fit. Or you can DIY with zipties or bent your own from thing steel rods.
