Need recommendation.

Go to solution Solved by Max225719,

I have the Acer XR382CQK it's a LG IPS panel 38" curved running at 3860x1600 75Hz display. It's also the same panel that's in a Dell and a LG monitor but only the Acer is factory overclocked to 75Hz. The screen is beautiful, I greatly enjoy gaming on her and I came from a Samsung quantum dot so that's saying something.

Granted it's a higher resolution then you are looking for and not a gsync however it looked way better side by side compared to the x34 and nearly every other high end ultra wide. If you live near a microcenter (it's where I went to compare) you can pretty much see them all side by side :)

Hi there,

I'm looking for ultrawide monitor.

My requirements

Ultrawide (21:9)

G Sync

1080p or 1440p

IPS/VA Panel

My current pick is Predator Z35, but I've heard alot of negative things about it like ghosting and many reliability issues.

Thanks.

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus TUF Gaming B650-Plus / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Zotac RTX 5090 SOLID OC/ x2 WD_BLACK NS770 2TBs/ Corsair HX1000i/ NZXT H5 Flow

I recommend Alienware as i already got one, it has a little bit of backlight bleed on the bottom corners, but i doesn't bother me that much to return it, some people have got flickering issues with this model when overclocking but nothing like that appeared so far to me, crossing my fingers for future.
