Custom cable as an extension?

Go to solution Solved by kontradictions,

Yep. I use custom cable extensions to hide my ketchup and mustard cables. Just make sure they're extensions and not power supply specific cables and you're golden.

So I just watched one of the bitwit's video about pimping his fan's rig, and he did use custom cable as an extension to the ketchup & mustard cables. Is it really possible? So I can get rid of this bad colored cables on my black-grey rig without having to change my PSU.

As @seon123 suggested, simply switching out the PSU could serve you better. There are PSU's that come with all black cables that would look good in that system

You can't use custom cables as extensions. They are completely different from each other.

Either way, that money should go to replace the crappy PSU you have, not to hide the colours of the cables.
