I've seen videos comparing the latest Nvidia Driver and Nvidia Driver 399.07 and they show how GPU performance of GTX series drops with the updates, some games have 10fps drops and some have 2-3 fps drop. Does anyone think that Nvidia is deliberately doing this to push the RTX series because people still prefer GTX over them?
Have you considered rolling back to or already rolled back to 399.07 version? Did you see the difference if rolled back?

10FPS is a lot. I may give it a try. Rolling back to 399.07 has to be done by using DDU in safe mode?

I thought we can just uninstall the current driver and get the Older version from sites like softpedia.

Not sure because Windows might install them automatically.
