Buy an old pre-built computer with an i5-2400 or better and ~8gb ram.  Make sure it accepts full height cards.  Install GT 1030 GDDR5.

Done.

This would be a decent entry platform, just add another 4gb of ram.

Extra 4gb of ram...

GT 1030...

You can get different parts, these are just examples.

fortnite only requires 4gb, so the RAM would not be the limiting factor

Dont really play Fortnite, but 8gb would be where I would set the target.  If it pushes the price too high, it can be skipped.

I wouldn't personally recommend Fortnite on anything lower than 8GB.

Just listing my personal recommendation. I also usually run at least 2 other applications alongside my games, so the extra RAM is nice to have.

i wouldnt either, but with $200, there will probably be sacrifices (like 4gb instead of 8 ) because you are not spending much

There are no decent AMD systems in the used market.

That system with an i7-3770 will give similar performance to R5 2400g on the CPU side, while its price is similar to JUST the R5 2400g CPU.
