pc case dust

hello ive got a problem with my case, and the problem is there is dust on the bottom of my case.

my case is the coolermaster mastercase pro 5 with 3 intake 1 at the front and 1 exhaust fan at the back

but how is dust laying at the bottom of my case when ive got 3 fans constanly blowing air in and a fan taking the air out.

my friend has a different case and he cleans his pc every 2 months i have to do it every 2 weeks.

 

i hope you guys can help me with this problem.

1. Your PSU will pull air in so make sure it has a dust filter underneath it.

2. If you are having dust coming in from the bottom of the case where the PSU isn't then you must have negative air pressure otherwise that wouldn't be really happening. Clarifying, do you have 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust fan?

yep 3 intakes and 1 exhaust.

well the dust is on the red area.

Okay, that makes a whole lot more sense. It's because you have 3 fans pulling all the dust in and its settling on the PSU shroud. Is the front of that case not filtered? I'm not familiar with the Coolermaster Mastercase.

the front has a dust filter same for the top of my case

My guess is it's not a great dust filter. Most cases don't have good dust filters, they allow for micro dust to pass through so easily. I use these fine mesh Silverstone dust filters and it's a big difference. Ultimately it's up to you if you want to spend the money on keeping your system more dust free. A case upgrade to something like the Fractal Design Meshify C would make a difference as it has dense foam built into the front panel as its dust filter. You just vacuum it every few months and it's good to go.

thanks for the tip

im probably going to buy 1 and test it

cus i dont know if ill be able to see my rgb through fans

and if thats the case ill just try and mount it behind the fan.
