So the latest windows update has broken my connection to my router. I think my WiFi cards drivers aren't compatible with the update. So I just wanted to make sure that all I need to do is download the correct drivers onto a memory stick. Then install them on my computer.

At least this update didn't make it impossible to open anything... That's happend before. What a waste of a laptop...

I would also be interested to know if there is any way to stop this happening again in the future. So any tips are appreciated.

By the latest you mean 1809? Is the card showing in Device Manager? You might want to create a folder with your drivers and hide it somewhere or make yourself a 'driver backup USB'.

I require no glory, only results.

WiFi has been a mess with Windows 10. Ive seen so many that have had issues. I luckly have not had any. All you can do is try to install the drivers again and hope it works. If you dont want this happening in the future, then stop using Windows. Sadly this what we will be dealing with from now on. I mean shit MS had to recall their latest patch for screwing up peoples machines badly.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
