Motherboard only recognizing one drive at a time

Hi there,

 

I was installing a new MSI gaming pro carbon motherboard, ram, and cpu today and when i was done i booted it up for the first time and realized that only one out of my 4 drives was showing up. I then proceeded to check each drive to make sure they were still working and checking all the cable and connections as well to see if i had made a mistakes. After checking the hardware side of the issue I then went and updated the bios and still had the same issue, only one drive would show up at a time and it would show a different drive depending on which port i plug the cables into and with which cable without any noticeable pattern. i've been looking around and cant find anything similar to my problem and was wondering if anyone else had suggestions on how to fix this issue?
