Why? Get Xbox Music, it's better.

That is what I use. (that is what I use. I am in Canada. I got the yearly membership... been using it for over 3 years.)

If you have windows 8.x, you can use it for free (with ads, and no downloads, just unlimited streaming).

wait, you cant get spotify in Canada??, i can get it in New Zealand without any vpn's.

Google play music isn't either. Something about content laws in Canada.

Well Microsoft did it, do if they want they can... but probably they don't see it as a valuable market.

Most likely they are looking how XBox Music is doing. If and when it picks up, they see value, and then come.

 

Oh, you also have Sony Music service... but it's Sony music mostly.
