Ok, So I basically just throw away the controller that came with it and instead just buy a 1 to 4 RGB splitter?

For Aura sync it doesn't require the controller, the controller as said is designed for systems without integrate RGB headers or if you want to interdependently use coolermaster's software control option.

Yes an RGB splitter will be what you need just take note of how many fans or LED strips you're adding to not overload the header.

Hello!

I just built my new PC and this is my first one with RGB, I cant seem to get my Cool Master Pro fans to sync with my trident Z and mother board. I'm trying to use Asus aura b/c it says its says its compatible but Im open to any software that work. Right now the trident Z Ram and mother board do work with the software.

Link to Fans

I have a controller for the fans, which has worked when I used cool masters software for those fans, but I uninstalled it and its still stuck on the animation I had it do when it was installed.

You need to connect the fans directly to your motherboard's RGB header and use their included software for control.

Yes, I did connect it via the rgb header, and on the fans box it said its compatible with aura sync.

Yes it only used for pc that you want to add rgb to non led MOBO.  Try connecting on if the fans to your MOBO RGB header and see if it's working right if so order a splitter 3 to 1 hope this helps.

This is how I have mine

And you need to install the dedicated software for your motherboard to control the lighting.
