Its a pretty good cooler. You can probably do about a 3,8/3,9ghz overclock on it

Offcourse that invlolves some silicon lottery (and motherboard), but yes it is a decent cooler. Though not the most quiet cooler

Hello!

I am helping my friend build a new Gaming Computer, I want to ask: Is the Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz cooler good for gaming and performance?

Thanks!

Best Regards!

The stock cooler is very good, it keeps my Ryzen 5 1600 nice and cool, even overclocked to 3.8Ghz.

I have that cooler and it works great on my CPU with good overclock! Plus, it has built in RGB.

Unfortunately only the one with the 1700 has RGB. The 1600 one doesn't :(

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

RGB isn't important here, I was just wondering if the processor is good :)
