Can I make two PCs run as one?

I have two AMD FX 6300 PCs laying around, so I decided to turn one into a minecraft server.  Now I'm curious if I can make the other one run in tandem with it (kinda like SLI for CPUs) over the network?

you can use one tower and have two gamers but connecting two pc's together is simply not possible

lol, unless you run the game on 2 different computers and you have 4 arms..

Dang... oh well.  Would've been cool to have two cpus running without having to invest in a server motherboard.
