RGB brands and building

Venhomey

Hello all,

I'm a bad PC builder as in, I never gave a thought to cable management and RGB to make the PC pretty *sparkles*

I'm interested in the following case:

Nzxt 500(I)

And interested in the following RGB hardware:

Corsair Hydro H110i or a nzxt kraken.

Corsair 16gb ddr4 3000 (OC) RGB ram

Multiple rgb 120 or 140 fans (depending on build, case and hardware)

Maybe a lightstrip

Regular hardware:

X470 prime

2700x

GeForce GTX 1070 or 1080ti (not sure yet, mostly work with audio and photos with some casual gaming)

Focusrite 2i2 USB (owned)

Cooler master modular 750w gold standard (owned)

M2 drive nvme

Older storage drives (owned)

Is it possible to combine multiple brands (if needed) and make them communicate with each other? I couldn't find any good information on this.

Have you looked at the Corsair vengeance rgb pro? Personally I think it looks. Way better

The h500i will come with 2 ledstrips, as long as you can fit it on the mobo, you can connect it.

if you want to sync it all, you need a mobo with a software like mystic, aura, or your mobo's equivelent

it depends what kind of LED´s each product you buy uses.

generally there are regular RGB LED´s that you also get as a strip where the whole strip will be the same color at all times these usually have 4 pins.

then there are addressable LED´s where each one can be controlled individually these usually have 3 pins.

both of them are not compatible with each other and for the 4pin version there are different pin layouts available as well.
