Exchange Server/Outlook problems

Yes, they are joined to an AD domain. I double checked that.

Not sure how to add DNS records though...

Exchange needs an autodiscover record for clients to automatically find the right mail server. You can add these in the DNS utility, typically on your domain controller.

Of course, all of your clients need to use that DNS server in order for this to work on a local domain.

Take a look at this article:

Hi everyone,

I am currently configuring some virtual machines as an assignment. I am almost done, the last thing that remains is configuring the Exchange Server for the clients.
I have installed Exchange 2013, all the users have been added mailing through the web app works without a hassle. But I don't want them to use the web app, I want them to use the Outlook app in Windows 10.
When I select that I want to add an exchange account however, it fails to find the account or ''account settings'' it then wants me to specify the domain, but it still fails.

How can I configure my Exchange Server in such a way that I can use the Windows 10 app for e-mail?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry for grammar errors, but my language settings is currently in Dutch XD

Are the Exchange servers and clients joined to an AD domain?

Did you add DNS records for e-mail and autodiscover?
