Hello, I am planning on upgrading my current build so that i can run the latest games and games to come in the near future in 1080p 60fps generally.

My current build is:

Mother Board: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. CM6330_CM6630_CM6730_CM6830_M11AA Rev x.0x

Processor: 3.40 gigahertz Intel Core i7-3770
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti

SSD: Crucial_CT525MX300SSD1 (525.11 GB)

I was talking to someone, I told them that I wanted a computer solely for gaming, no recording or streaming as that will be a different build.

The games I plan on playing in the near future include but are not limited to:

  • Fallout 76
  • Rust
  • Dying Light 2

BUDGET £1000 GIVE OR TAKE

I am interested in seeing if anyone can provide me with a better build than the one listed below for roughly the same price point.

Willing to go slightly over £1000 if it will provide significant performance boosts for the value.

they both have their ups and downs.

Luke's build is good. But if u go on with his build, u'll need to update the BIOS of the motherboard. Because ryzen 2xxx series chips work on x370 boards only through bios update.

Whereas if u go with my build, u'll save a few bucks, and the hassle of bios update.

Assuming this is the most optimal gaming build for that price, are there any upgrades of the listed hardware that could increase performance by quite a lot or increase the longevity of the system through just a bit more money expenditure?

I really appreciate the help so far from all of you.

it might bottleneck a little on the more cpu heavy games, but if your psu can keep up then you should be fine

Regarding this message on PC Part Picker:

Some AMD X370 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Pinnacle Ridge CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.

Is it difficult to upgrade the BIOS for using a Pinnacle Ridge CPU?
