NVIDIA defaulting to Adaptive V-Sync now?

Installed ForceWare 416.16 today and like always, I've done a clean install by ticking that box in the installer which always resets everything to default. Except today, it hasn't, one setting at least. Adaptive V-Sync was still enabled after new driver install. Anyone else noticed this or is it just a glitch on my system?
