Hi everybody,

I bought the new iPhone Xs, and even if I love its design I think I really need a case.

My biggest issue is that when I place it on the table camera facing, it isn't still because of the camera  thickness...

I'd like a case or a skin that isn't too invasive, but that has the same thickness as the camera, and not more

I looked up dbrand skins to add a bit o scratch protection, but I wasn't expecting them to be even too thin

Any help?

Thanks all

Even if you get a "ultra thin case", it won't give you any protection, and if it does, it will be very minor. Anyways, I'll recommend you some here:

https://www.spigen.com/collections/iphone-xs/products/iphone-5-8-case-liquid-air?variant=9356384895023

(Probably the best suited to your taste, since it's thin and also has mil-grade certification)

(This is the same case variant I use for my S9, and so far phone has no cracks and dents)

P.S Never, ever use skins on your phone.

I used to use a skin on my S7 Edge. I dropped it a couple times. I peeled the skin off and saw a crack.

Skins only protect against minor scratches. Not even deep scratches. Try stabbing your phone with a knife while having a skin on (not saying you should do this, but this is a common procedure used to test glass screen protectors), I bet it will go right through easily since its just flexible vinyl and not something strong like glass or even hard plastic.

What I'm saying is, using a skin and a case is near impossible. You can't even use screen protectors and skins at the same time easily either. So using skins on a phone isn't worth the massive sacrifice it makes.
