If your motherboard has a Mini PCIe slot, you can get one of the better Intel WiFI cards. If your motherboard does not, a 3x3 PCIe 1x card like the ASUS PCE-AC68U

My motherboard is an Asus Z77 Sabertooth.

Then it does not have an integrated mPCIe slot. you can either get a normal PCIe 1x solution like the Asus PCE-AC68U, or a Intel Centrino 6205 Desktop kit.. You can also go along the USB route.

It is the best on the market, especially if you have an AC router.
