Need some recommendations!

A Fiio E10 or an o2/odac combo seems to be the biggest contenders around here...

Fiio E10 -> around ~75$ on amazon

o2/odac -> around ~250$ - 280$ from Mayflower Electronics

Just gave you a general idea of prices so you have a baseline for comparison :D

Edit: I love my Fiio E10 :D

I would add a third tier where you have just an O2, since that is probably the second best option for most people as the need for another dac when your motherboards is functional is silly.

Right, I was just providing the most common selection that seems to show up on the forums :D

For future reference I do suppose. For most people the ODAC is just unnecessary.

I guess since i dont know if the ODAC is necessary means its not necessary? lol

I have the corsair sp2500 2.1 and when i plug the headphones into the audio hub it gets louder but become fuzzy when i go almost full (which is where the bass starts to come in)

Its only necessary if the dac on your motherboard is no longer functional.

Poorly designed headphone solution, I would say try off the back your motherboard.

Which headphones might I ask?

If they're the DT's, your motherboard just isn't driving them well enough at which point I would go for the E10 or O2.

The DT880 is known to have less bass in comparison to the DT990 mentioned earlier in the thread, but I'd imagine it should still be pretty satisfactory when you pair with an amp.

Current PC: AMD FX8320 || PNY GTX 770 || 2x4GB || ASUS M5A97 || Corsair TX 750 V2 || Asus Essence STX || CM Storm Enforcer
Peripherals: Logitech G500S || Cooler Master Quickfire TK || Audio-Technica AT2020 || Focusrite iTrack Solo || Q701 + DT990 Pro

I know it sounds simple but sometimes we over look settings like effects presets in the control panel, have you checked to make sure they are all of?

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

Everything was set to stereo with no effects in the windows control panel. The same thing with the asus sound control panel
