Here's the deal: Im looking for a way to have good mic quality, good sound quality and exellent comfort(mainly for gaming, skype and music) for relativley cheap. Ive been using gaming headsets like the Steelseries siberia V2 (wich broke on me) and the logitech G430 (very uncomftrable) I think its time to get a new setup, maybe even get a standalone microphone.

Ideas and recommendations based on personal experience would be very appreciated.

Turtle Beach X12 has amazing sound quality and is stupid cheap ($40)

Its sadly usb only, I mainly listen to music on my phone so it wouldnt work.

A budget would be helpful.

In the meantime HD518's and a Snowflake make for a powerful combination.

My buget is around 100 $ total so the hd518 would be too expensive, but the snowflake looks like a pretty good value.

Snowflake a fantastic value, and now that I see you will be using them at work, the open headphone wouldn't work very well anyway. To that I change my original statement to a pair of Sony 7506's/V6's (Which ever is cheaper) or a pair of M50's if you can find them for under $100, if not SRH440's are a great sounding option.

Actually im not using them for work I just said that usb clearly wont function on a mobile platform.

But after some research, closed headphones seem better for me.

The m50 looks epic but its way out of my budget (its 179$ here) but im probably going to buy a snowflake and save up for a pair of m50's

That is a very shit value for the M50's don't get them for that kinda cash when there are miles better values.

For that kinda cash you could the the Custom One Pro which is a miles better headphone.

May we ask your location? It'll be easier for us to find prices for your area than for us to start listing every headphone that might be in your budget.

I currently live in canada, the lowest price I found for the m50's was 136 $ but I prefer buying them from a more trusted place at wich the price is 179

Personally disagree, but that's because the bass blew out on me

Any ideas for headsets in the 60 to 100 dollar range?

You can find Logitech G930s less than $100 on ebay. They are wireless and have surround sound.

Linus reviewed them too.

Ouch, Canada's headphone prices suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

Is Amazon.ca a trusted site for you? The ATH-T400's are within budget. Just add a cheap lapel mic until you can save up for a Blue Snowflake.

Looks nice, gonna do some more research on them and see what reviewers think.

If you still want to get the blue snowflake on amazon, I want headphones for Mobile/ Desktop use you could pair the mic with Sennheiser HD201's also on amazon

The snowflake and HD201's are also available at Canada Computers. Hope this helps.
