Oculus rift 3 or 4 sensors?

Go to solution Solved by WereCat,

3 is enough imo.

Going from 2 to 3 was a big difference but from 3 to 4 you will get just very minor improvements or none if you position them well enough.

Do you recommend 3 or 4 sensors for the oculus rift? I think I am going to do quite a bit of roomscale but idk yet. Would it be worth it to get 4 sensors or would it be overkill? Thanks in advance!

I own 4 Sensors and must admit in all fast paced games like Arizona sunshine a fourth sensor does come handy. There is noticeable less jiddering when making very Quick turns.

But i maxed out my play  area, so if you play in a smaller room 3 Sensors are clearly enough.

I'm pretty sure that 3 are enough. I was playing with a 2 sensor setup, by placing them oppositely - which actually worked for 360° gaming, but with some dead angles. Since I decided to use 3 sensors there is less noticeable jittering and no dead angles. In my opinion 4 are exaggerated.
