LINUS PLEASE...for Ryzen 7 2700X which is the best :

1. ATX MOBO (for OC)

2. RAM (16GB - 2x8GB)

 

 

- For CPU cooling I'll use Thermaltake Floe Riing 360 (at front panel)

- My case is COOLER MASTER H500

- Video Card:  MSI - Radeon RX 580 8GB ARMOR MK2 OC

Budget? Without knowing that I'd go for an ASUS STRIX mobo or ASRock Tiachi, in the X470 variant unless you can find an X370 one that has had the BIOS updated for the 2000 series CPUs. For RAM go with a good kit of DDR4 3200MHz or so.

if you want to OC you really want to go for a higher end x470 mobo as they tend to have better and more VRM´s

 

For Ram get at least 3200mhz Ram as the speed directly influences the CPU speed on Ryzen

As I said before, the Taichi and the Crosshair are the best AM4 motherboards you can buy right now, the taichi is under 200$ as newegg is doing a promo deal today.
