I'm building a new pc and I need your help. My goal is to be able to play demanding games on full graphics or older ones, heavily modded (TES Skyrim for example), while also being able to comfortably edit large files (been working on a map which has a 2 gb size in Photoshop right now) in Photoshop and Illustrator. Most of the time I'll be working on both Adobe programs and probably InDesign too. My budget is 1600 euros more or less (1750 dollars). I'll be playing both FPS games (like LoL) and RPG games (like TES and Dark Souls).

However, my current monitor is a Philips 231te4lb 1920x1080, 60Hz. I mainly play Skyrim, Dark Souls, Assassin's Creed and LoL. Will there be screen tearing? Will it be visible and make the games unplayable? I'm mostly worried about LoL cause V-Sync will increase input lag. Does anybody have any experience with this?

I may be old guy, but I tried see difference (that infamous input lag) in many games in years and the only difference for me is no tearing and lower temperatures in vsync mode, so I always force vsync in driver. I just see no input lag. I don't know how other players see that.

Yes but what about LoL? Do you have any experience with that? Doesn't keeping the frames at 60 hinder the in-game performance for you?

I don't play LoL, but you play this game as I think. So you may test it even now - is vertical sync makes you difference?
