What really? That's fucking retarded. If someone here (depending on what state) you actually have every right to kill them. In the other states (I'm pretty sure) you can still beat the fuck out of them. 

Yes thats very true , here in the netherlanths you always have to call the polica and you cant do anything , if you kill anybody whos trying to rob you in your house you'll probably face 10 years of prison or something.

yeah, the stand your ground law. i'de love it. it would give burgelars a second though before breaking in again, because the police aint doing anything about it.

the fact that burgelary is profitable and has no downside exept for the 1/1000 change you get caught and released later the day annoys me.

Why? Is it okay to take someone's life just because he made a poor decision to commit a crime? No. Shoot him in the leg, hit him with a hammer or a bat, but don't kill him. Let the authorities handle him after that. Killing another person is only okay when he is attacking you and your life is in imminent danger.

No it's not ok to take their life but it is okay to beat the fuck out them. There are many home intrusion cases where people get hurt and people are very impulse driven so there's no telling what an impulse burglar would impulsively do if he got caught.
