0 Delete everything from digital ocean and host my site elsewhere.

I would like to host my site elsewhere and right now I just want to delete everything on digital ocean.

I have a few questions: how do I safely remove my custom domain from digital ocean? 
I want to use the domain elsewhere, and I do not know how to safely unlink it with my server.

I have local backup of everything on my site, so the content on it does not matter.
After that what should I do? Just click destroy droplet???
