Client's psu

He's got a 1080 already running with his 1700x on a EVGA GD 850w he request for a 2nd 1080 should I leave his 850 in or get hum a higher one?

850W is easily enough for 2 GTX 1080's - You'd be fine with a 650W PSU.

I think the EVGA GD is a non modular version of the GQ, so it is an alright PSU too.

The PSU should be fine, although he will need to upgrade the PSU if he intends to upgrade further, or if he wants to do extreme overclocking.

EVGA GQ uses better caps and has a better fan IIRC
