My cousin wants to get a new computer. He has an 7 year old MacBook. The computer will be used to play minecraft but he is probably going to start play sometning like War Thunder, and he wants best performance per buck. The computer he wants is a laptop and the budget is around 600-700$ due to prices being higher in Sweden. You could also suggest something like a 1100$ laptop so he can get it in used condition.

So what do you suggest. Ive got a good idea but Im on iPad so i cant show it.

"Hi I'm a PC Gamer master race!" "What do you play ?" "You know, l33t games like Minecraft"

Don't intend to offend you or your cousin don't get me wrong, but this just makes me laugh.

As for the computer, a decent 700$ laptop will be fine, but you know... Laptops...

Guys, he is 11 and his parents does not allow him to get a desktop. (That was my case too...) And his parents would fund a bit of the laptop.

Btw. He Only plays minecraft now but he will also use computer for studies and future games. The computer will be used for over 3 years.

He is not able to build a computer either, (desktop) so he would buy a already built computer and you would not Save much over laptop there.

Finding a laptop for that price is kinda hard and with decent graphics, for that price you can only get Intel HD graphics or Radeon integrated graphics. there is THIS laptop, no dedicated graphics or anything special. The cheapest "Gaming" Laptop out there would cost around $800, out of his price range.

Sager's got some nice gaming laptops, but for cpu/gpu intense games. Im not too sure about top of the line gaming notebook components, but mostly all Sager's are customizable so you can individually look up each component your looking at on Google to see their benchmarks.

I had one in plan that I told you guys, 900$ new but he can get a two month old used version for 700. It has a middle version core i5. Nvidea geforce 635m graphics and 8 gigabytes of ram. Nothing in the computer would bottleneck it. That would be good as gaming.

So he isn't allowed a desktop. That made it a lot harder. Any reasoning behind the whole desktop thing.

So he is not on his room all the time. Also, he should be able to travel with it.
