2080 oc help needed

today i returned my zotac amp for the msi trio as it was the same price, do i need to re install drivers when swapping over ? 
after burner says i can only increase power limit by 9 percent which was the same as the amp, i thought the after market cards were ment to have a higher power slider to some extent, im getting exaterly the same clocks atm ass the amp and i asumed i would get a little more on the msi even if on 25 mhz ?

do i need to re install drivers ect and afterburner or is it just sailicon loto
