But yeah, i5 is good for gaming and 8gigs ram is technically enough, but go for 16 if you can. Chrome uses a lot of ram, it's kinda ridiculous.

If your using Windows 10 I recommend 16GB of RAM and a M.2 or SSD.

Ebay, they have a 30 day money back guarantee.  But I just wouldn't trust buying someone elses stuff because I don't know how they took care of it.  The parts could be in a bad air flow very hot case and have reduced life span.

is there any shops ( not online) where i can buy after testing it and can return/exchange it if it does'nt work

Check your programs see what benefits You 

Faster cores or more cores

And then decide

More cores is nice but many don't understand 9 of of 10 programs benefit from single core performance still to this day

But on that note we really don't have real multitasking numbers like we use to get

Multithreaded doesn't equal multitasking because 90% number
