So basicly, i was playing with my friends, the computer froze, i long-pressed the power button, booted up the pc and it went straight to BIOS.

I tried booting with only the mouse plugged in, tried switching the SATA cable to other ports, tried just casually restarting the pc hoping it would magicly boot to windows, but unfortunatly, nothing worked.

(Btw, i have a ssd and a hdd, the ssd contains the windows and other important programs, and the hdd has games and stuff on it).

Specs:

Intel core i5 6400

ASUS b250+

GTX 1060

Corsair ssd 240gb

HDD 1tb

Windows 10

Thank you for your help!

Edi.

Have you tried the boot drive in another pc that you know works? Is the drive and the other components detected in the BIOS correctly? Have you tried replacing the Sata cable?

I dont have another pc to check the drive on?.

The bios recognizes all the components.

I will try to replace the SATA cable, I'll update again when I can

UPDATE:

So I tried chanching the SATA cable, all it did was when I boot it takes me to a black screen with the writing "Press 《CTRL + P》 to Enter MEBX setup menu", and when I do press ctrl and p together it freezes with a line underneath saying "Entering MEBX setup menu".

Oh ok.

(BTW: after that attempt I switched back to the first cable I was using, after boot it went back straight to the BIOS)

Change the boot prioritizes,  and if that doesn't work, have best buy or someone check the hardware

Boot prioritizes can be changed, I tried that already, it doesn't change anything, it still boots into the BIOS.

Thank you anyway, I'll send my pc to the company I bought it from.
