So, I have been opening my PC and changed thermal paste and been (trying...) to open my GPU to change its thermal paste to, Ive been cleaning cpu fan and change its thermal paste. So my question is. Will taking a part things like changing thermal paste and trying to clean fans dangerous? Cause i am not really into "computers". So while i was putting back the GPU i notice it wasnt in its place...it was slightly off course...it didnt fit the space where it usually was. And i changed the thermal paste for about 1 month ago and i also wonders if its bad to change it to often?.

Most pastes you replace every 2-3 years, though some say they last up to 8. Most OEM pastes aren't the absolute best for cooling but they last for even longer, and basically never need to be replaced unless your thermals are worse than you'd like. For GPUs especially, I wouldn't advise ever repasting them unless you're chasing the absolute best thermals possible or it's overheating.

Yep, that's a good reason to change the paste. But you shouldn't need to change it again for a couple years at least (depending on the paste). From the way you worded the OP It sounds like you were doing it once a month or so.

Ah. No need to unless you notice the thermals spike again, but that would probs be something else other than your paste.
