so I'm building a pc with an gtx1070 ti and a risen 7 2700x. is a 600w power supply enough?

What do you need the PC for and what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

The wattage doesn't matter much, rather what model PSU is it? Needs to be decent as well as have decent wattage

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

The 80+ line is not of the best quality, but if it's the PSU you have now then I guess it can't be avoided. A ryzen CPU and a 1070 could go off 500 Watts, so if you have the chance to get a better PSU, perhaps get a Corsair cxm instead.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black聽(with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux聽- Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explained,聽group reg is bad

What's your Budget/Country for everything?

why do you need the budget and country

And the rest of the parts if you haven't bought them already

for example you might be buying a poorly cooled GPU, a low end motherboard, unnessisary things, and/or a case with no airflow that will make your PC run hot.

Would need the budget/country to recommend a good PSU to buy.

There are 1000W units that are shit and you shouldn't buy.
