So i have noticed that when i play most games i get this random drop.  cant figure out why.  i have a 8700K and 16gb corsair vengeance rgb pro@ 3600Mhz paired with a 1080 founders,  latest drivers.

You can see in the graph that there is a drop. This happens in most games.

That drop interval is pretty similar, maybe some program running on the background or driver causing high latency is the culprit.

It happens still with fresh copy of windows.  Only thing i can think of is GPU failing.

Nah m8,  a GPU failing looks more like a bowl of smashed peas smeared across your screen for .01 seconds then black screen and full speed gpu fans. Or you know, artifacts.

You could try to roll back your drivers, or enable/disable Gsync if you have a compatible monitor. It could be anything.
