Radeon Drivers will not install.

DrDerp

Hello, I installed a RX 570 today, however every time I attempt to install my drivers they just don't work.

I've restarted 4 times now, reinstalled the drivers each time, and they still don't work. I think I am using the most recent adrenaline drivers. I am currently trying to download the Gigabyte drivers for this, but its going to take about a hour or so due to my slow internet.

What should I do while waiting?

Who needs fancy graphics and high resolutions when you can get a 60 FPS frame rate on iGPUs?

Could you specify the "they just don't work"?

What GPU where you using before? Did you uninstall the previous driver?

If you find any grammar or spelling errors please fill out entry permit A38, thanks.

Greetings from germany

Hello there, I’ve been at it attempting to install my drivers for my Gigabyte RX 570 for 7 hours now, and I am at the point where I may give up for the night. I have no idea what is wrong other than it just refuses to install the drivers.

I have cleaned out old Nvidia drivers for my 660 using the DDU utility, and have done it for my AMD drivers twice now too.

I have reflashed the BIOS and it still won’t update.

I have gotten the disk drivers, the most new drivers, and the drivers from Gigabyte’s website. None of them work.

I’ve attempted to start in safe mode to install them.

I’ve probably done a few more things that I’m forgetting due to how stressed out I am by this at the moment.

I tried to contact AMD support but they’re closed on Sundays. What should I do? I literally just wanted to play DOOM for an hour or two, but have been doing this instead. Any help is insanely appreciated, I am on the verge of just giving up for the night.

Give us more detail. Are you getting errors? Is it crashing? What OS are you on? We need more information.

I see you have the MSI H61-E paired with the i5 2400. Is the on-die GPU off? Are you connecting your monitor straight from the RX 570?

Yes and yes.

I only got two errors with codes: Code 43 in device manager, and in Windows Update I got 0X8024CE2B. It’s not crashing, however when I get to the end of the installation, I click either “close” or “restart” and nothing happens. Both just close the program and don’t restart my PC. I’m currently on Windows 10 home.

I’ve been working on it for a while still, I’m no farther than where I started from. AMD can’t be contacted until tomorrow, but I really want to get this PC running tonight. Anything I can really do anymore?
