Hi,

So I have a Z97 Pro4 with an i7-4790k in it and I am trying to update the BIOS. The servers for internet flash appear to be gone. So I downloaded the latest BIOS and it on a flash drive. I then went into BIOS to flash it when it told me it has to FAT32/16/12 file system. Idk what this means. Can anyone help me out?

You need to go into Windows and format your USB drive to FAT32.

This is done by opening your file explorer, navigating to your USB drive, right clicking on it, clicking "Format" in the dropdown menu, and setting it as FAT32 in the Format tool. This will wipe all your data on the USB drive, and you will have to move the BIOS version back onto it.

I have it in FAT32 buy when I go to do the update it says "No image file detected". The drive is plugged, the BIOS is on it and it's in FAT32. @Crunchy Dragon

the bios will need to be out of the zip, if its out already, put it back in.

Unzip the downloaded file. If that doesn't work for some reason, try contacting Asrock.

Out of curiosity, why are you updating the BIOS?
